Tai Shang Lao Jun Shuo Xiao Zai Jing
Author unknown. It is believed to have been composed between the Tang and Song dynasties.
Consisting of one volume, it is included in the Benwen Section of the Dongshen Division in the Daozang (Daoist Canon).

The scripture states that the Supreme Lord Laozi, together with all the great sages of heaven, sat in the Azure Glow Hall and ordered all divine beings to subdue and record all ghosts, demons and various disasters in the world. It asserts that if men and women in the mortal world encounter urgent distress or tribulations, they should bathe themselves, observe a fast, reverently recite and offer homage to this scripture, and invoke the names of the Thirty-Six Vajras, Twenty-Five Divine Kings, Twenty-Seven Divine Warriors and Thirty-Seven Heavenly Masters — by doing so, all disasters, illnesses and hardships will be eliminated naturally.
