Tao Zhi (?-825 ap. J.-C.) était une figure du milieu de la dynastie Tang (certaines sources affirment également qu'il a vécu à la fin de la dynastie Tang et durant la période des Cinq Dynasties). Il était aussi connu sous le nom de Tao Zhi (Zhi s'écrivant 埴, signifiant « argile » en chinois).

Il est l'auteur de plusieurs ouvrages, dont Tongzhen Lun (Traité sur la recherche de la vérité), Huanjin Shu (L'art de revenir à l'or), Huanjin Dan Jue (Instructions secrètes sur l'Élixir d'or du retour), et Tao Zhenren Neidan Fu (Ode à l'alchimie intérieure par la vraie personne Tao).

He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
