Wang Qingsheng était une figure de la dynastie Song du Sud (1127-1279). Son nom de courtoisie était Guozhai, et ses noms littéraires (hao) étaient Yinhe et Yuanqingzi.
Il était le disciple de deuxième génération de Peng Si. Il est l'auteur de Yuan Qingzi Zhi Ming Pian (L'Essai de Yuanqingzi sur l'essence de la vie) et San Ji Zhi Ming Quan Ti (L'Échelle vers l'Essence de la Vie dans les Trois Royaumes ), un ouvrage en un seul volume, dans lequel il expose les principes de l'alchimie interne (neidan).
