This text provides annotations on The Scripture of the Heavenly Realms' Divine Writings for Delivering Life, an ancient Lingbao scripture dating from the Six Dynasties period.

The author either presents summaries of the scripture or offers detailed character-by-character and sentence-by-sentence explanations, with a primary focus on interpreting the meanings of words and phrases in each chapter.

For instance, in explaining the character "ming" (destiny), it states: "Destiny means determination.
