The Celestial Miraculous Record FULL NAME IS
The Xuantian Shangdi Qisheng Lingyi Lu (Records of Xuantian Shangdi's Manifestation and Spiritual Wonders)

The original text does not specify its author. Judging from the content, it was presumably compiled by Taoist priest s of Wudang Mountain in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming dynasties.

Consisting of one volume, it is included in the Biographies Category of the The Dongshen Section within The Daozang.

The content of the book is divided into two parts. The first half collects inscriptions and imperial edicts honoring Zhenwu (the True Martial Lord) during the Yuan Dynasty, including Records of Spiritual Wonders in Building the Zhenwu Temple written by Hanlin Academician Xu Shilong, Stele of the Tianyi Zhenqing Wanshou Palace on Wudang Mountain by Cheng Jufu, and the imperial edict enfeoffing the Two Gods of Water and Fire issued in the second year of the Taiding reign.

The second half contains seven prefaces to The Qisheng Jiaqing Tu (Pictures of Manifestation and Auspicious Celebration). This album of paintings was compiled by Zhang Shouqing, Supervisor of Wudang Mountain’s Tianyi Zhenqing Palace, and his disciples during the Yuan Dynasty, mainly depicting stories of Zhenwu’s incarnation and manifestation of spiritual powers.

While the album itself has been lost, the prefaces written for it by literati and Taoist priest s such as Zhang Yucai, Wu Quanfeng, Zhao Mengfu, and Yu Ji are preserved in this book.
