The Supreme Primordial Attained-Fruition Scripture
The Primeval Lord of Heaven Speaks the Scripture of Verifying Perfection
The author and the era of compilation remain unknown.
Consisting of one scroll, it is included in the Text Category of the Dongzhen Section of the Daozang (Taoist Canon).
With a text of merely over 200 characters, this scripture is purportedly preached by the Primeval Lord of Heaven to all celestial immortals and exalted saints, and contains a twelve-line four-character ode.
It is stated that those who transmit and recite this scripture will be guarded by celestial deities, and all ghosts shall be pacified. Having recited the scripture ten thousand times, "the living shall attain longevity with the family blessed with good fortune; the deceased spirits shall be freed from suffering and escape the evil realms."
